FIM and PEARLE Launch New Tool to Help Instruct Musicians With Instruments Containing Endangered Species

The MU’s European colleagues at FIM and PEARLE develop tool to assist musicians determine what they need to do if they have an instrument containing endangered species.

The International Federation of Musicians (FIM) and the Performing Arts Employers Association League Europe (PEARLE) have launched a joint website to help musicians work out if they need a CITES certificate to travel with a musical instrument.

Dave Webster Live Performance Organiser for the MU says:

“This is a really useful tool developed by our colleagues in the EU. It’s a helpful addition to our resources regarding travelling with a musical instrument we have developed for members.”
