Welsh TUC Black Activists Development Programme Opens for Applications

The development programme aims to give the confidence and key skills needed to influence union structures, and has just opened to applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic workers in Wales.

It will provide an opportunity to learn about the trade union movement’s structure, diversity, priorities and leadership. It will also give participants the confidence and tools to be able to get more involved in their union's organising, influencing and decision-making structures.

Wales TUC’s Black Activist Development starts on 13 March and will include several online and face-to-face sessions during 2023. It is for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic works and is open to anyone who lives or works in Wales.

Key training dates

13 March 2023: module one will run online

24-26 March 2023: module two will be a weekend residential session with accommodation and meals provided
