About Gionatan Scali

Gionatan Scali is an East London-based musician, writer, and visual artist who was born in Turin (IT). He is also the leader of the music ensemble that bears his name, constructing a mysterious narrative about his life and work.The band relies on a hazy blend of overlapping layers to create a mystical, soft-core sound. Many influences, ranging from jazzy and alternative rock melodies to psychedelic and lo-fi ambient sounds, but also left-field.
Active with one EP (My curly hair, Nov. 2018) and two LPs (Ride on and A Prophet after his Turkish bath, 2022), released in May and June of the same year.
Notable Singles Ride On (2022) and Perfect Town (2020) were issued by Nice Guys Records, a French label.
Gionatan has a mercurial and unpredictable personality and is able to express himself in unique ways because of his varied life experiences. He is always open to trying new things, collaborating with people, and sharing his artistic endeavours. Currently preparing for his first solo exhibition, which will introduce him to the modern world and establish his psychedelic universe as a dominant visual force.
